Media Advisory - SCDPS Holds Safety Events at Rest Areas/Welcome Centers for July 4th Travel

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) announces the following event:

Who:

South Carolina Highway Patrol

What:

South Carolina Highway Patrol holds safety breaks when troopers will meet and talk with motorists about safe driving tips,  distribute safety materials, answer questions about child passenger safety and simulate driver impairment with the use of DUI goggles.

When:

Friday, July 1, 2016,  ALL LOCATIONS: 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
