South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) announces the following event:

WHO:       SC Highway Patrol distributes safety materials and talks with motorists about safe Thanksgiving travel

WHEN:     Wednesday, November 21, 2018, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

WHERE:   Rest Areas / Welcome Centers (Statewide)

Thankgiving tips 2018

Troop 1:

County: Kershaw 
Location: I-20 at the Kershaw Rest Area
Westbound, Mile Marker: 93
Rollover vehicle will be present

Troop 2:

County: Newberry 
Location: I-26 Rest Area 
Eastbound, Mile Marker: 63.5

Troop 3:

County: Oconee
Location: I-85 Rest Area – Georgia line 
Northbound, Mile Marker: 1

Troop 4:

County: York 
Location: I-77 Welcome Center
Southbound, Mile Marker: 3
Rollover vehicle will be present

Troops 5 and 6:

County: Orangeburg
Location: I-95 Rest Area - Santee
Southbound, Mile Marker: 98
Rollover vehicle will be present

Troop 7:

County: Orangeburg 
Location: I-26
Eastbound, Mile Marker: 150
