Media Advisory: Six Law Enforcement Officers to be Honored for Meritorious Service

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) announces the following event:

WHAT:   SC Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame -- Induction Ceremony for Meritorious Achievement in Law Enforcement
               (Six law enforcement officers to be inducted into the Hall of Fame)

                Nominees for this honor must have a proven record of excellence, especially to South Carolina law enforcement as a
                whole. They must have 25 years minimum of law enforcement service.

                The nominees are represented by the following agencies: South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), South
                Carolina Department of Corrections, South Carolina Highway Patrol, Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, Greenville Police
                Department, and Rock Hill Police Department.

WHEN:   2 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2020

WHERE: SC Criminal Justice Academy Gymnasium, 5400 Broad River Road
