SCDPS Reports 12 Motorists Killed On South Carolina Roadways May 27 To May 30, 2022

COLUMBIA — The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces a preliminary number of 12 people killed on South Carolina roadways during the Memorial Day holiday period beginning Friday, May 27, at 6:00 p.m. until Monday, May 30, at 11:59 p.m. In comparison, 11 people were killed on South Carolina roadways during the 2021 Memorial Day holiday period beginning Friday, May 28, 2021, at 6 p.m. until Monday, May 31, 2021, at 11:59 p.m.
