Patrolman Reeves died as a result of his injuries from a collision between his motorcycle and another vehicle in Lexington County. Patrolman Reeves was ejected from his motorcycle and struck a highway sign. Patrolman Reeves was a three and a half year veteran of the Patrol and assigned to motorcycle duty in Richland County. He was the son of a Colleton County magistrate.
