The South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) announces the following event:
WHAT: Induction Ceremony for Meritorious Achievement in Law Enforcement.
- Seven law enforcement officers will be inducted into the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame.
- Nominees for this honor must have a proven record of reputable character and outstanding work, especially in South Carolina law enforcement. They must have 25 years minimum of law enforcement service.
- The inductees are represented by the following law enforcement agencies: Chapin Police Department, Columbia Police Department, Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, South Carolina Department of Corrections, South Carolina Highway Patrol/South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, and Rock Hill Police Department.
