The South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) announces the following event:
WHAT: Induction Ceremony for Meritorious Achievement in Law Enforcement.
Seven law enforcement officers will be inducted into the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame.
Nominees for this honor must have a proven record of reputable character and outstanding work, especially
in South Carolina law enforcement. They must have 25 years minimum of law enforcement service.
The inductees are represented by the following law enforcement agencies: Laurens County Sheriff’s Office,
Orangeburg Department of Public Safety, Carolina Department of Natural Resources, South Carolina
Law Enforcement Division (2 inductees), South Carolina State Transport Police, and York Police Department.
