The SCHP Emergency Traffic Management Unit (ETMU) coordinates the Department of Public Safety’s traffic management responsibilities during emergencies and evacuations, which includes planning and response for all hazard contingencies. This includes coordinating support and resources from state, federal, and local agencies in the development of these plans.
